These days we have so many chrome-competitors or alternatives which give more functionalities than the usual chromium engine. Actually I stop using the Google Chrome web browser since last two years so I have to depend on other web-browsers to fulfill my surfing needs. Here is the list of web browser I have used last two years including pros and cons and comparison with the each other.

(1) Microsoft Edge (I have used in the Windows 10)

Since Windows 10 has arrived, this utility web-browser increased it’s full potential power using the chromium web-engine. Unlike Google Chrome it uses less level of RAM and the disk space.

Advantages

Faster than the competitors on the list

Sites can be saved as apps

Disadvantages

Nothing I have noticed yet as a disadvantage

(2)Mozilla Firefox (I have used in Windows 10 and my Android Phone)

Firefox is became my first option when I left-out from the Chrome. It’s own web-browser engine (Gecko Engine) gives lightweight and faster performance on the Platforms.

Advantages

More flexible to adjust settings to customize on own-interest

Better Privacy Protection other than the competitors including data-breach protection

Could sync easily with Firefox account login

Disadvantages

Little-bit slower on web pages specially which depends on JavaScripts Core

(3) Brave (My current use in Windows 10 & Android)

Unlike other chromium based browser Brave gives user to chance earn cryptocurrency (called BAT) and it’s ecosystem much better than the CryptoTab browser. Basically it’s chrome with ad-blocking and less-tracking path.

Advantages

Have options to disable ads and trackers to have much better privacy protection

Users have chance to earn BAT when they choose to see advertisement on pre-configured interval time.

Faster Downloads from the websites.

Disadvantages

Sometimes lagging as the usual chrome browser. (Specially on Windows)

Less functionalities affect on some websites when you turned on the ad-blocking feature.

(4)Vivaldi (On Windows 10)

Based on Blink just like opera ancestor it’s have own unique docking and and tab-stacking. People who have a much social life can have this best option other than the competitors.

Advantages

Best Lightweight option on the browser market.

Users can maintain an email and blog service while using a Vivaldi account.

Better Download Speed

Disadvantages

Difficult to manage bookmarks and saved links sometimes.

Finally, as a conclusion if someone asks me “what’s the best option in here ?”, my answer is “it’s totally up to your requirements. So you can try these options and choose a better-half for your surfing needs.
